Web Developer/Digital Media Manager - Permanent - Circa £35k - Chesterfield

My Client a large International drinks company with offices in Chesterfield requires a digital media whizz to maintain and build websites, and develop and drive the digital marketing strategy for our group of businesses. This is a permanent position paying circa £35k per annum.

We're looking for a digital media all-rounder who is technical as well as creative, so the ideal candidate should be a highly skilled web developer with a genuine interest in web technology and extensive experience in coding, E-commerce, Search Engines and Content Management Systems.

As you will be working closely with the Creative, Marketing and IT departments, you should relish team work and be experienced and confident in presenting ideas and recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Updating and maintaining current websites for the group, along with developing and building future sites and social media campaigns
  • Commissioning and managing outside professional services when required
  • Overseeing the website, email hosting and domain registration
  • Advising on how best to implement digital marketing strategy

Specific skills required:

  • Photoshop/Illustrator/Dreamweaver/Flash
  • HTML/HTML5
  • CSS/CSS3
  • Javascript
  • Experience of building content management driven sites (Wordpress, Joomla etc)
