Venue Sourcing Manager
We are seeking a charismatic individual to take responsibility for sourcing, researching, evaluating, recommending and contracting venues on behalf of BCD m&i. A key part of this role will be retaining and developing all major accounts whilst maintaining the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity at all times. Other responsibilities include:- Assist with evaluating briefs and proposal solutions, destinations and venues for consideration Assist internally with budgets and proposals as necessary during planning Generate the maximum revenue from venue commissions and ensure that accurate commission invoices are despatched in a timely manner Co-ordinate site inspections for operational staff and others as required Co-ordinate and attend supplier presentations in the EMEA office Develop and manage a system to ensure all hotel/venue special offers are logged and available to all personnel Develop industry knowledge and keep abreast of changes and new developments Oversee the quality, accuracy and presentation style of proposals and client correspondence Improve the department's net profitability by controlling costs, increasing the throughput of work and maintaining/improving the conversion rate Qualifications Ideally, minimum of 2 years' venue sourcing experience Travel industry and destination knowledge Proficient in full Microsoft Office suite Experience with industry technology (Cvent,Cvent, StarCite etc) an advantage This role is a permanent position, based at our offices in the town centre in Maidenhead and we offer an excellent remuneration package.
