Sofeware Engineer
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Engineer within our clients' team based in Winfrith Newburgh, Dorset. This is a contract role for 3 months starting in February 2012.
The right candidate will be skilled and experienced in designing and building executable Labview stand-alone utilities with experience of Labview 2010 or later. Have experience of interfacing with serial/Ethernet instruments for data collection and instrument control, data manipulation algorithms including rotation/conversion and validity checking and knowledge of and experience in professional documentation of software in accordance with ISO.
The key accountabilities for the role are to:
Code sensor interface, raw data simulator, shore software system, remote status monitor, MOSAIC and data converter and exporter.
Desirable skills and attributes include:
Experience in image acquisition and manipulation. Experience with developing basic simulators for software development. Experience in development of professional standard GUI applications.
