Senior SharePoint Developer

A Senior SharePoint Developer is required to join a leading Financial Services organisation that is at the forefront of payment solutions. The successful role holder will work be responsible for the internal Web infrastructure where you will provide services and support throughout the company through a primarily SharePoint platform. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SharePoint Developers who are looking to work with cutting edge technical solutions within an organisation that invests heavily within their IT Infrastructure.

The successful Senior SharePoint Developer will: act as a technical lead on the analysis and resolution of incidents, build and configure new SharePoint based applications as projects require, support and maintain current systems that are a contribution of systems that have been built in-house and those that have been created by 3rd parties, provide input into the technical strategic direction for internal web delivery, build relationships with all areas of the business to create a common understanding of requirements and technical feasibility and to deputise for the Team Leader where required.

Candidates will possess an excellent understanding of industry best practice across the Wintel & Web technology stack where you will have gravitas to influence the technical community. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint for SharePoint 2007 and ideally for SharePoint 2010 from an administration and development perspective. You will have an innovative approach to IT and will be proactive with keeping you technical skills up to date with new developments.
