Senior PDMS Electrical Designer
ONC/OND in Electrical Engineering or related subject. HNC/HND Electrical Engineering, preferred
Certificate/recognised PDMS training essential.
Essential Experience - More than 5 years experience in electrical engineering in the pharmaceutical or oil & gas industries preferably with experience in the design of LV switchgear and HV distribution (33kV, 11kV & 3.3kV) systems.
Must be capable of demonstrating substantial experience with PDMS and AutoCAD systems with formal training in these systems an advantage.
Desired Experience- Making site surveys, protection methods for electrical equipment in hazardous areas, producing design deliverables:- SLD, cable transits, cable sizing, cable schedule, motor lists, load studies, specifications for lighting, distribution boards, earthing, cable tray & rack, pushbutton control stations, trace heating etc. Construction support and experience of any CIE tools would be of advantage.
Experience in design of Control & Instrumentation will also be of benefit for this role.
