Kwik Staff, on behalf of their rapidly expanding Clients are seeking an Experienced Automotive Components Sales Executive. Job Description: The company is an overseas based manufacturer of mechanical control cables. With low cost manufacturing and a UK based Sales and Engineering Centre the Western automotive market offers large growth potential. They are looking to strengthen the UK based Sales team. Ideally the candidate would have experience in selling to both Vehicle Manufacturers and Tier 1's. An engineering background would be an advantage although full training can be provided. A proven ability to seek out and influence key decision makers within customer organisations is essential. Frequent travel to meet customers before and during projects will need to be undertaken. It is also important that the applicant can work constructively within our existing team. There are many communication challenges working with customers and colleagues based around the world. A positive attitude to achieving the company aims within this environment will be necessary. Candidate Requirements: Experienced sales professional in automotive components. Confident with customers. Able to find and secure new accounts. Good office skills. Some project management experience. Engineering background or numerate. Comfortable travelling. High integrity team player Familiar with FMEA, SPC, APQP,PPAP,TS16949.
