The Role:

The SOA developer is responsible for all aspects of service oriented implementation. This person is knowledgeable in all aspects of service orientated principles and best practice and serves as a key developer in the integration of solutions. Communication is key and the building of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on the Oracle SOA suite and Oracle Middleware platform
• Proactively aid the improvement and support the Enterprise Reference Architecture defining best practices, principles and guidelines for the use in service development
• Contribute to the Governance and Implementation of all service related activities ensuring loose coupling and maximum re-use throughout the Enterprise
• Support the Head of SOA with organisational promotion and education on Service Orientated best practices and related business benefits
• Ability to translate design requirements into development options that are
  i) Cost effective
  ii) Efficient
  iii) Reusable;
  iv) That comply with SOA architectural principles and best practices
  v) Enhance the business process
