Within this exciting new position, you will play a vital role in the provision of high-quality analysis to support and enable our Category Managers to make 'Value for Money' recommendations to the organisation.

You will undertake market and competitor analysis to identify current & future efficiencies, opportunity analysis to detect new efficiency opportunities and assist in the coordination and management of the pre-qualification and tendering process. You will record historical and current data in an organised and detailed way to enable better quality analysis for future decisions.

You will demonstrate sound procurement knowledge and understanding through experience, ideally gained from a commercial environment. Ideally, you will be CIPS qualified, or working towards qualification.

You will demonstrate the necessary energy and initiative to engage effectively with a range of internal and external customers. Good IT skills are required (including Excel & Powerpoint).
