As part of Investment Funds Direct Limited (founded 1982), Ascentric's 'Wrap' platform enables Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) to view value and trade client investment portfolios. The technology we provide gives customers a clearer picture of how their entire portfolio is performing, putting them in control of their investments through their IFA.

Our goal is to be the independent wrap platform of choice. We strive to achieve this by constantly listening to our clients, by focusing on service delivery and by constantly improving the breadth and depth of our platform proposition.

The purpose of this role is to provide technical SIPP administration service to customer and advisors of Ascentric, including calculating and paying benefits, undertaking regular/mandatory plan reviews, calculating death benefits and creating/maintaining relationships with customers and their advisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide a compliant administration service to Ascentric SIPP customers and their advisors
• Ensure transactions are processed within the agreed department SLA's and KPI's
• Entering and maintaining data on an in-house administration system
• Calculate retirement benefits including pension commencement lump sum
• Ensure customers receive their SIPP payments on their required pay date
• Maintain the payroll function

Technical knowledge required

• Broad understanding of all types of pension provision
• Detailed knowledge of SIPP administration
• To be able to calculate Benefit Crystallisation Events including USP and ASP
• Knowledge of HMRC requirements
• PC literacy and Internet skills
