Payments Administrator
As part of Investment Funds Direct Limited (founded 1982), Ascentric's 'Wrap' platform enables Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) to view value and trade client investment portfolios. The technology we provide gives customers a clearer picture of how their entire portfolio is performing, putting them in control of their investments through their IFA.
Our goal is to be the independent wrap platform of choice. We strive to achieve this by constantly listening to our clients, by focusing on service delivery and by constantly improving the breadth and depth of our platform proposition.
The purpose of this role is to undertake payment and ISA subscription tasks as directed by the Payments Team Leader to ensure that all IFDL's payments both in and out are completed efficiently.

- To pay in all cheques received and ensure they are all banked within time each day
- Responsible for processing all withdrawals, regular payments and cash movements when requested by clients, IFA's, TRM's, customer services and Payments Team Leader
- To process all debit card payments as and when received from Ascentric's clients
- To deal with any client/IFA requests and queries received by post, email, fax or phone in a timely manner
- To ensure that all ISA subscriptions are accompanied by a current ISA declaration before processing ISA subscriptions
- Record all ISA subscriptions received as new subscriptions and ensure that no new money is allocated which would allow a client to over subscribe
Experience/Qualifications
- IAQ/NVQ or previous experience of working in a similar financial background
- Previous experience in Financial Services, Funds/Equity administration, banking or working for an IFA
- Understanding of general investment products available, ISA/PEP/Unit Trust and SIPP/Pensions
