NPI Product Leader
Operating in a fast paced NPI environment, this is an ideal role for candidates with the enthusiasm and commitment to continuous learning, and with the capability to develop into a skilled NPI practitioner. Once competent in the NPI area, candidate career progression could involve almost any part of the business.
Key Responsibilities - Opportunity to lead smaller scale New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes, Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency of the NPI Team by identifying and recommending new approaches, policies, and standard operating procedures, Resolve internal issues by assuming ownership of problems, strategizing with affected departments, and selecting and implementing solutions, Ownership of the creation and cascade of NPI Metrics, Managing the NPI visual management area, facilitating cross-functional team input to accurately reflect program status.
Competencies to be assessed at Interview include - Effective Communication, Project Leadership, Customer Focus, Focus on Quality, Building Trust, Inclusive Environment.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Essential: Cross-functional business experience, Experience in project leadership, Some experience and understanding of diesel engines, Capacity to learn new skills.
Desirable: HND or above in Mechanical Engineering, Background in Manufacturing Environment (external), Previous roles in disciplines such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Development would be beneficial though not essential (external), Certified Green Belt in both DMAIC and DMEDI.
