Huxley Associates are working with a key client based in Bath to recruit a Head of Software Development to join their team. This will be a great opportunity for an experienced Development Manager who wants to make the step up in their career and be part of a successful and expanding organisation.
You will take ownership of their Software Development function including P&L, software strategy and the management of over 30 Developers through two Software Development Managers who will report in to you.
We are looking for someone who has a progressed up the ranks from a development background to have a proven track record of managing large teams. It is very likely as the successful candidate you will have an appreciation of a range of development methodologies and understand the development landscape and can talk strategically about issues you may face.
Finally they need someone who knows how to get the best out of people and has previous experience of hiring/firing and performance management of a team.
