Based in Taplow, Bucks, Robosynthesis is a robotics company specialising in modular and reconfigurable robots, and is
looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer.
From lightweight & back-packable to heavy-duty taskmasters, the Robosynthesis modular robotic system provides the
capability to build virtually any robot, for any application, delivering into Defence, Security, Research and Education
markets and more
In this Electronic Engineer role, you'll manage our electronic engineering activities to the highest standards. The ideal
candidate will be enthusiastic, self-starting and willing to take responsibility on major projects. You will also be able
to produce presentable and effective documents , be willing to participate in trade shows, travel as necessary and liase
with clients/ suppliers.
In-depth knowledge and experience of:
* Micro controller and C for embedded systems
* Communication buses
* Power electronics and/or motor control
* Interfacing to sensors and actuators
* Design to meet EMC standards
* Design and prototyping of electronic circuits for robot control.
* Analyse, diagnose and correct issues with existing control circuitry.
You'll also ensure that our work complies with current legislation and is cost-effective and safe. A key aspect of
your role will involve monitoring specific projects and ensuring that they're being delivered in line with our own
specifications and requirements.
The successful candidate will be required to pass DVA security clearance.
