DT Teacher - Textiles
Our client is a highly reputable secondary school based in Devon. Their last Ofsted inspection received Grade 1 in all
areas and recent GCSE exams produced grades A*-C grades for 86% of student
The Textiles Teacher job has arisen in the Design Technology department due to one of the school's current Textiles
teachers taking maternity leave in the summer term. For this reason we are looking for a Design Technology teacher that
is confident in delivering Textiles lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
The successful applicant will have excellent specialist knowledge of textiles and a passion for promoting active learning
and development. Candidates with Art or Design Technology backgrounds will be considered for the position. The school is
looking for Textiles Teacher that will inspire its students, plan and implement effective classes and take an active role
in the school's extra-curricular activities.
