Coffee Demonstrator / Lavazza
Recruitment Advert
Job Title: Lavazza In-store sales Coffee Demonstrator
We are looking for the right person to fill a part time ongoing position working with a leading premium international
coffee brand within a well-established store - the position would suit someone with experience of demonstration, premium
brand work or sales. We need people who will take on the role and manage it as their own little business - striving to
improve positioning in store, suggestions for improvements etc.
The role is twofold; demonstration of coffee machines and customer education on the product alongside building brand
awareness and a strong relationship with the store.
Key points:
In store demonstration, sales and relationship building
Permanent part time role - working weekends
Premium brand
£10/hour plus bonus
Working in premium stores, nice customers
It will be a rolling ongoing monthly contract
Potential for events work (London Fashion Week, Good Food Show)
1 day comprehensive training with the client (paid) to ensure you can present the brand with confidence
You would need to be interviewed by the client for this role if you are successful with your application.
The stores are really important to their sales plan for 2011 and so we need people who can build strong relationships
(e.g. ensure there is enough stock for your scheduled demonstration days).
A consultative sales approach is important, we want people to purchase who are genuinely interested and going to use the
product regularly. Repeat purchase of the consumable is the key to the success of this campaign so basically we don't
want people to buy this item like a bread maker.....bought on a whim or because they had a pushy sales person and then
sits in the attic gathering dust after the first week! Showman skills are important to keep people interested but you
must come across as genuine, enthusiastic and approachable.
We need staff who are well groomed, committed (we will be training you thoroughly so once you have agreed to your days we
need you to stick to them), passionate about their role, confident (but not arrogant), can blend in with store staff and
become a part of their team and mostly who love coffee!
