Business Development Manager, West Midlands, UK -
Kwik Staff are seeking an experienced Automotive Industry BDM on behalf of their rapidly expanding clients. Job Description: The company is a manufacturer of mechanical control cables. With low cost manufacturing and a UK based Sales and Engineering Centre the Western automotive market offers large growth potential. We are looking for an individual to lead the UK based Sales team. Ideally the candidate would have experience in selling to both Vehicle Manufacturers and Tier 1's. An engineering background would be an advantage although full training can be provided. A proven ability to seek out and influence key decision makers within customer organisations is essential. Frequent travel to meet customers before and during projects will need to be undertaken. It is also important that the applicant can work constructively within our existing team. There are many communication challenges working with customers and colleagues based around the world. A positive attitude to achieving the company aims within this environment will be necessary. Candidate Requirements: Good at working within a team. Shows strong leadership qualities. Hands on selling experience of Automotive Components. Able to handle mutiple projects. Familiar with industry quality and project management tools. Able to travel. High integrity, well motivated. Commands respect from customers and colleagues. Engineering or Numerate background. Quotation handling experience.
