Assembly, Test and Finish Group Manager
We are currently recruiting an experienced Group Manager for a major 1st tier automotive supplier located in Stafford. The position is for a 6 month contract that may lead to a permanent engagement for the right candidate. Previous experience within a similar position is essential, ideally within Assembly, Test and finish. Key responsibilities - To lead, manage and develop a ATF team to deliver against key performance targets which include:- Elimination of injuries, Employee Engagement, Quality Status, Defect free product manufacrture, Due date adherence, deliver ATF budget to flexed plan, CPS audit score - Drive a culture of continous improivement, focused on the customer and meeting key performance metrics - Develop and lead positive and effective relationships with the shop floor team - Drive process discipline to deliver defect free products for the customer and down stream process - Set and drive quality goals and ensure efficient cross functional intergration - Develop and implement near and long term PQVC plans and ensure the goals are met - Identify and drive improvement initiatives to optimise PQVC performance.
