Our client is a creative and dynamic IT company that has been providing IT consultancy and application delivery services based on Microsoft technologies since 2000. Their clients vary in size and requirements and they pride themselves on being a one-stop shop for IT solutions. An opportunity has now arisen for an ASP.NET Developer to join their team.

This is a superb opportunity for an IT professional with first-class knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, CSS, AJAX, jQuery and SQL to progress their career within a dynamic and challenging environment. Our client also offers the chance to take an MCP qualification for the right candidate.

As an ASP.NET Developer, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of software solutions and components based on Microsoft technologies.

Involving yourself in the full development life cycle, you will design and develop solutions and perform support and testing. Additionally, you will provide support for other members of staff and project managers.

You'll be involved in the full life cycle of projects from initial requirements gathering through to design, build, test, release and maintenance.

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
- An excellent knowledge of ASP.NET MVC
- Experience of SQL 2000 or 2005, TSQL, stored procedures, triggers and cursors
- Knowledge of CSS, AJAX and jQuery
- Strong fault-finding and diagnosis skills gained within an IT environment

As an ASP.NET Developer, you must have fantastic communication skills both written and verbal. A team player, you must have the ability to effectively problem-solve and work to deadlines.

Knowledge of Photoshop or Agile methodologies would be beneficial to your application. A MCP qualification would also be an advantage, as would testing experience.
